Green Rocket - Longarm - Spindle and Thread Guide base
With the Green Rocket - Longarm, all the threads that you wanted to use but couldn't stand the hair pulling frustration, now you can. Why, because the Green Rocket takes the thread and guides it off the spool from the side in the same way the thread was put onto the spool in the first place. So...... what this means to you..... no more pulling your hair out with frustration......... because the thread won't be twisting....... which means, the thread won't be shredding, twist knotting and breaking. Oh... Yea! Simply place the thread spool on top of the rocket, take the thread put it through the guide then thread your quilting machine. You may have to adjust the tension. Dusty Farrell ran it through his A1 machine at 100% speed to test the rocket system, worked beautifully! You can use any size spools without twisting the thread into unhappy hair adventures.... I am happy dancin.... and I won't be the only one.
Set up is easy, slide the base onto the center peg of your thread holder. Slide the stopper (the little black circle in the picture) down the peg to hold the base in place. Slide the rocket onto the same peg, place the spool over the rocket and you are good to go.
***NOTE: If you have an A1 or Inova quilting machine, or any other quilting machine that has a center peg of 6"+ you will also need to purchase the height adjuster. The Height Adjuster compensates for the high peg.
